What made you want to be a bodyworker and therapist?

I discovered bodywork and massage in 1999. I was going through a severe depression and suffered from a lot of pain. A series of 20 Lomi Lomi Nui massages completely changed my life. I not only came out of depresssion but I actually started feeling happy, enthusiastic and passionate about life. This was the first time ever I thought that I want to be able to help others and support them on their way to find more happiness. An Integral part of our life is work, and I believe that in order to be happy we need to do work that is in service, that changes lifes and inspires others. With bodywork, as well as with therapy, I can support my clients to find their path again.

What has been your biggest career struggle so far?

During the 20 years of my career as bodyworker and breathworker I went through many phases. For the first ten years my biggest struggle was to be financially independent by doing bodyork. At that time I still held the belief that in order to earn money one needed to do a hard job which one doesn't enjoy. After changing this thought pattern I found abundance and a fullfilled lifestyle where I can travel around the world teaching and helping others to live pain free.

The second phase which I am still in, is one where I find difficulty to maintain a balance between my work passion commitments and my family. There are extended periods of travel where I am away from home and missing my house and my closest ones dearly.

And what about your biggest career win?

My biggest win so far has been establishing and successfully running two big schools of holistic health. One in Estonia, Body Awareness Instititue, and one in Poland - Integral Body Institute. As far as my spiritual life is concerned I consider it a big success to have resigned my corporate job in a big American corporation in 2008, since then following my heart, finding a way to create a life of independence and service for others, despitę all of the fears.

What motivates you the most?

My motivation comes mostly from love. I am a very tribal person and I deeply care about my tribe and my family and friends. This motivates me a lot, I want to show them that I walk my talk, that I can provide for them and inspire them. This feeling of support for my tribe and community gives me immense power and energy to "move the mountains".

How do you relax?

I love relaxing by receiving bodywork and different types of massage. Each year in Winter I go to Asia for three months, either Bali, Australia, Thailand or India, and I look for the best therapy around. I love going to Spas or Hammams and just chill. This is the best way for me to relax. I also love sports: running, walking, swimmizg; often, after a full day of sessions or time in a group room I go for long walks in the park or on the beach.

What is your favourite quote and why?

"Bless the present, trust yourself, expect the best", Serge Kahili King.

This quote emphasises the way I live. With gratitude, presence, trusting life and expecting the best. I see life as an amazing journey where we learn how to be more present and loving beings. Each person and experience bringing important lessons for us to grow and integrate.
