That changed thanks to the groundbreaking contributions of renowned therapists like Gabor Mate, Peter Levine, Stephen Porges, and Bessel van der Kolk. Trauma work has now gained prominence and respect in the therapeutic community.

Over the many years I have worked with trauma, I understand the immense responsibility that comes with exploring the sensitive spaces of individuals who have experienced trauma. It requires a deep well of patience, sensitivity, and a profound understanding of the intricate interplay between the mind and body.

At its core, trauma work aims to gently regulate the nervous system, expanding the window of tolerance for clients. Guiding them towards the Ventral Vagal Complex of the Parasympathetic Nervous System, where safety, peace, self-contentment, love, and compassion reside, opens the pathway to self-regulative healing.

Over time, I have come to realize that trauma work is not a one-size-fits-all approach. It involves recognizing and embracing the unique personality of each individual, appreciating both the gifts and the shadows they carry. It is a journey of understanding their personal narrative, the impact of past traumatic events, and empowering them to find resolution and healing.

My expertise in Biodynamic Breathwork, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and Compassionate Inquiry has allowed me to develop the necessary skills to navigate this delicate journey. I have honed the art of assessing each client's readiness to confront their past trauma, ensuring that the process is safe, gentle, and tailored to their specific needs.
